Dickinson County Board of Supervisors
Present are Supervisors Mardi Allen, Pam Jordan, Paul Johnson, Wayne Northey, and David Gottsche, Chairperson.
The Board held a work session on the county budget to be proposed for fiscal year 2010 with several department heads. The board also discussed setting the salary for county employees at this time would help the departments in preparing their department budgets for the overall county budget. The Board discussed the decisions that had already been made for the elected officials and the bargaining unit contract in effect. Following a lengthy discussion, it was moved by Northey seconded by Johnson to set salary increases for county employees at 3.5 percent for the fiscal year 2010. All voted aye.
Work/discussion on the budget continued.
There being no further items for business presented before the Board, it was moved by Allen, seconded by Johnson to adjourn. All voted aye.
