Moved by Northey, seconded by Jordan to
approve the Class C liquor license and outdoor service area application of
Woodlyn Hills, Inc., dba Woodlyn Hill Golf Course. All voted aye.
Owner’s representative gave weekly new
courthouse construction project report.
Moved by Allen, seconded by Jordan to
renew the contract with Third Party Administration, Ltd. for the administration
of the Partial Self-Funding of the health insurance from July 1, 2006 through
June 30, 2007 at a monthly charge per employee of $7.25. All voted aye.
Moved by Allen, seconded by Northey to
purchase the ISAC Plan 11 Health Insurance benefits package from Wellmark. All voted aye.
County Engineer present. Moved by Allen, seconded by Jordan to approve
the Federal SAFETY-LU Grant for federal fiscal year 2009 in the amount of
$360,000. The project number is LFM-595
and will involve an asphalt overlay of 4 miles of County Road M27 from the
Highway #9 intersection south. All voted
aye.
Moved by Northey, seconded by Jordan to
approve an agreement dated February 8, 2006, with the City of Spirit Lake in
regard to the upgrading of 235th Avenue and 28th Street,
and Dickinson County will pay up to $300,000 in each of Fiscal Years 2007 and
2008 for the said upgrade. All voted
aye.
Moved by Jordan, seconded by Allen to
approve the purchase of five TV cases, detention grade, to be purchase for
installation in the new jail at a cost of $510 each plus shipping and handling
with the installation to be done by the General Contractor for the new jail. All voted aye.
Mr. David Dahlquist, Dahlquist Art Studio,
presented his proposal for artwork integration for Phases 1 & 2 for the new
Dickinson County Courthouse. No action
taken at this time on the proposal.
There being no further business
presented before the board, it was moved by Allen, seconded by Jordan to
adjourn. All present voted aye.
