Dickinson County Board of Supervisors

February 14, 2006

Present are Supervisors Chairperson David Gottsche, Mardi Allen, Paul Johnson, Pam Jordan and Wayne Northey.

The Board discussed the request for a 15% increase to the base bid for the removal of asbestos due to the delays to start the contract. Moved by Northey, seconded by Johnson to accept a revised contract with Mid-states Asbestos Removal, Inc. in the amount of $45,885 with the County Attorney building (alternate bid #2) to be deleted from the contract as that building will be moved by the salvager instead of being demolished. All voted aye.

Emil Lemke present with information on the Oak Haven boiler replacement project.

Moved by Northey, seconded by Allen that effective March 13, 2006 the new courthouse northwest parking lot be designated for the use of courthouse customers only while doing business at the courthouse and that the proper signage be installed. All present voted aye.

There being no further business presented before the board, it was moved by Allen, seconded by Jordan to adjourn. All present voted aye.
