Present are Supervisors Chairperson David
Gottsche, Mardi Allen, Paul Johnson, Pam Jordan and Wayne Northey.
Owner’s representative present with new
courthouse construction weekly report.
Moved by Johnson, seconded by Northey to approve Dickinson County
Courthouse Change Order No. 22 in the amount of $1222.00 for modifications to
security elevator. All voted aye.
Moved by Jordan, seconded by Allen to
approve Dickinson County Courthouse Change Order No. 23 in the amount of $1906.00
for Paint and vinyl color guide. All
voted aye.
Moved by Northey, seconded by Jordan to
approve Dickinson County Courthouse Change Order No. 24 in the amount of
$24,342.00 for add rated ceiling over Court Room 2300 A and adjacent rooms and
firewall to women’s toilet. All voted
aye.
Transitioning committee members gave
report as to progress of the offices moving materials out of the current
building into storage.
County Treasurer present to request the
appointment of clerical staff for the Treasurer’s office. Moved by Allen, seconded by Jordan to
approve the appointment of Beatrice Reiter as Treasurer’s office clerk,
effective October 31, 2005, at a beginning wage of $10.00 per hour. All voted aye.
Moved by Jordan, seconded by Johnson to
approve the following claims at hand as listed on the claims register dated
November 8, 2005. All voted aye.

County Engineer present. Northey absent at this time due to meeting
with Emmet County Supervisors at Estherville.
Moved by Allen, seconded by Jordan to
accept the letter from Don and Nancy Yarns to vacate 270th Place
within the Sandbar Beach Subdivision and to set a public hearing for 10:00 a.m.
for December 20, 2005, for Dickinson County to proceed with vacation of said
road and bridge. All present voted aye.

approve the road construction plan projects known as the Big Spirit Lake M56
resurfacing project:

Moved by Johnson, seconded by Jordan to
approve an agriculture lease with Tom Soat of Spirit Lake, Iowa, for 38 acres
known as the Leith Pit in Milford Township, Section #11, with the least being
for $87.00 per acre and terminating on February 28, 2009. All present voted aye.
CPC present to discuss the board setting
attorney fees for mental health and substance abuse involuntary hospitalization
proceedings. The Board will continue
discussions next week.
