Present are Supervisors Chairperson David Gottsche, Mardi Allen, Paul Johnson, Wayne Northey and Pam Jordan.

 

Board discussed the appropriations needed for FY 2006 department budgets.  Following discussion, it was moved by Allen, seconded by Johnson to appropriate 25% of the approved FY06 budgeted funds to the departments in the amounts listed below:

Moved by Northey, seconded by Allen to approve the full year Class C Beer permit renewal application of Donald and Nancy Yarnes dba Sand Bar Beach Resort.  All voted aye.

 

Moved by Northey, seconded by Johnson to approve the Recorder’s appointment of Olivia L. Reiter as Deputy Recorder for the fiscal year 2005-06 at a salary of 78.5% of the recorder’s salary and the Treasurer’s appointment of Julie Lande as Motor Vehicle Deputy for the fiscal year 2005-06 at a salary of 77% of the treasurer’s salary.  All voted aye.

      Property owners from the West Sioux Estates subdivision present to request that a TIF district be established in their area for road improvements.  The board told them to continue to move forward with the necessary documentation for an urban renewal plan to establish a TIF district.

 

            County Engineer present as well as property owners from the area of Old Town Milford to discuss drainage issue in the area.  Following the discussion, it was agreed that board members would contact Stylecraft and other property concerning alternatives for addressing the drainage problem.

 

      Moved by Allen, seconded by Jordan to approve the recommendation for the reconstruction of the distribution feeder line to the City of Terril application from Alliant Energy for a utility permit.  The work will involve placement of an overhead 12.4 kv-3 phase line with new poles and it will be located on the north side of 220th street, the east side of 300th avenue, the north side of 230th street and 310th avenue in Sections 4,5,9,10,15, & 16 of Lloyd Township.  All voted aye.
